Flag Football - We are looking to see if we have enough kids to fill some flag football teams. If this is something that you would like to do please send us an email with you childs name and age. The season would start April 9th - May 16th. One day a week for games and one day a week for practice. If you have any other questions please email us. As soon as we have anymore info we will update the website. We would also be looking for some coaches. If this sounds like something that you would like to do. We want to hear from you. Saturday Jan 28th - Cheer Competition Junior / REC State Cheer Championships Meydenbauer Center 11100 NE 6th St Bellevue, WA 98004 Cost: $15 Adults $12 kids 5-17 $10 Seniors & Military Free for kids 3 and under Come out and show your support for our Year Round Cheer group. They have been working very hard to get ready for this.. Congratulations to our Jr. Pee Wee Wildcats CheerleadersJr. Pee Wee Cheer will be a featured team in Compete Nation magazine as National Sideline Champs !!! They worked very hard all season. They didn't take very much time off. They are already working on things for our upcoming 2012 season.

Hello Wildcat Families, First, I want to express a Thank You for the great season we just finished, and for all the support you showed the program. We had record participation in our Cheer and Football programs, and several teams either won the Southwest Washington League Championship, or advanced to Regionals/Nationals. A special congratulations to the NC Jr Pee Wee Cheer: the squad placed 1st at Nationals at Orlando, Florida in the Sideline Cheer competition. This is a first for North County! Way to go girls! Updated photos' from the teams are at our website www.northcountywildcats.com Second, there are several announcements I'd like to make:
1. Board Position Elections: If you're interested in joining the Board for North County Pop Warner, we have several positions that are open for election. This is an opportunity to volunteer, participate in running the Association, and helping to make it better for the community. Each position is for a 2 year term, and the following positions are open for nominations: - President: Leads the Association, and sets priorities. Supervises other Board members, and ensures all rules/regulations are followed. Assists in recruiting coaches and ensures all background checks are complete. Sits on the Southwest Washington Pop Warner Board. - Secretary: Keeps all records from Board Meetings and other events; collects weekly MPRs. - Treasurer: Plans and maintains the annual budget; manages all cash transactions; works with external organizations on accounts payable and receivables. - Cheer Commissioner: Overall head of the North County cheer programs; recruits coaches and coordinates Cheer administrative actions. Works closely with the Southwest Washington Pop Warner Cheer Commissioner. - Scholastic Coordinator: Assists teams and players on all scholastic issues; coordinates activities to help players apply for All American recognition; subject matter expert on scholastic eligibility. If you are interested in nominating yourself for one of these positions, please send and email with your name, phone number and desired position to either of the following addresses: northcountywildcats@comcast.net , or parton94@yahoo.com . We will call you after the nomination, and you will be invited to attend our January Board Meeting.
2. Head Coaches for 2012: This year, we are going to work to identify our 2012 Head Coaches early in the year. The plan right now is to announce our Head Coaches in February 2012, so they can begin preparing. If you are interested in being a Head Coach of Cheer or Football, please send in a Coaches Application to northcountywildcats@comcast.net, or parton94@yahoo.com . Coaching Applications can be found on the website, under the "Registration" pull-down menu. If you have any questions feel free to contact me @ willnabors@yahoo.com . Registration for year round cheer "SIGN UP TODAY" Starts Jan 3rd
The fee is going to be $40.00 for returning girls. The cost for new girls will be $240.00 this will be the registration fee of $40, plus the 2012 registration fee that will help cover the cost of the uniforms. Registration for conditioning class for Cheer.
Conditioning class that will run from February to May for $30.00 a participant. This class will be for jumps, tumbling, and stunting for the girls that don't want to be in year round but want to stay involved. I have had many requests for this.
Year round should practice twice a week and one of those days will be the conditioning day which all participants will need. The Conditioning will only be one day a week and will coincide the same day as year round conditioning day.
